Thats a nice looking Fury!

I much prefer the Le Mans style bonnet to the classic..................which is why I have one on my Fury as well!

Good luck with the sale!

Thanks, I definitely agree about the bonnet, it sets the car off nicely.

Well I'm the other way and prefer the classic to the LeMans but hey they are interchangable so a prospective buyer could always change it!

Again nice car.

One question (not a sales enquiry unfortunately) - where did you get the bell mouths that are a good fit for the low down indicator depressions? What diam are they?

I've seen Pipercross versions but its one of those things where until you have them in your hand next to the car you can't be sure exactly how well they'll fit as they don't give you dims you can be sure are accurate (or are clearly ID or OD etc).

Its one of those things you want as big as possible but not too big that they don't fit!

PiperX do them in anodised red which would make them less obvious on my car...

Also is it just ally pipework from B&Q or similar?

Hugh_ - 24/4/08 at 11:14 AM

The air ducts are ali foil on wire type pipework, and they feed from just behind the mouth of the bonnet instead of the indicator apertures. I didn't fit them so I'm not sure where the pipework came from, but I can scrutinize the receipts if you'd like?

It was more the bell mouths I was interested in (bit poking through bonnet) - assuming you actually have them fitted and its not just the ends of the pipework painted black.

I'm pretty sure you can get what your after from Car Builder Solutions. Seem to remeber seeing something similar while in there the other week.
