doing exactly the same!! The front page at the moment is getting swamped with threads of For Sale items!!! I'm sure i'm not the only one frustrated by seeing all these threads (and repeated threads selling the same item!!)
Can we please have a sticky in the "For Sale" section outlining the rules of selling. I know Ben got told off earlier for starting two
threads to sell items, but we now have another two sellers (one of whom has ignored some advice via U2U to pop both items into a single post!! )

If I could add to what Paul said (all of which I agree with) it would be good if people would give some clue in the title of the thread as to what
they are selling!
Also, perhaps the sale items ought to be restricted to those things which might have some at least tenuous connection to Locost stuff, or to some kind
of motoring at least?

Surely it boils down to the seller using their head, rather than stamping specific rules.
It surely makes sence if you are selling lots of items that are of a similar type, (ie all car parts, or all pc parts etc) for them to be in one
thread, but if your selling several items that are distinctly different then seperate threads for them might make it more clear. especially when
people start asking lots of questions.
Problem is, the For Sale page will only accomodate 8 items, and if you have a look at the page right now you will see 5 of those are taken up by two
sellers!! Its unfair on those that have been forced off the page and makes it hard to find items when you are genuinely searching for stuff.
I'd like to see what Mr Henderson suggests - put the item for sale in the title but also start it with "For Sale" or "FS" to
keep things clear on the front page.

(Sorry guys, I only posted the two items this morning to try and give the bargains to Locosters and then I get lambasted for it!

One of my posts was replied to this morning within 4 minutes by someone simply translating my post into pirate speak. Very helpful I'm sure. Not
everyone wants to read these types of posts either but they seem to be tolerated, even if they do "bump " the post onto your front page!
Please don't do anything to discourage people selling potentially useful bargains. Locosters rely on them.

I know many people simply wont realise that posting seperate items up in individual threads is frowned upon hence the suggestion to clarify what the
expectations are with a sticky on the front page of the "For Sale" section.

number one for me is to consisely describe the items in the title. Just wastes time if its not there. High value stuff should be seperate but junk
should be grouped together in one thread. 
PS, anyone can write a post in fs and ask to have it stickied, if its good it might stay, if its crap you can always delete it!
