Nintendo DS card FS, possible Xmas gift ?
UncleFista - 18/10/08 at 10:39 AM

My 7-yr-old has a Nintendo DS (the hand held portable one) so I bought him a TTDS card. Brilliant, all the games you want, whenever you want.

I bought one for my neice (from Hong Kong), but she got one around the same time so I have one "spare".

It's a TTDS card with a 2Gb memory card included. If you have a family member with a DS, have a look and see what the TTDS card can do.

I'll fill the card with whatever you like before posting it off, if you buy this then you'll be the favourite parent/uncle over Christmas I guarantee it

As you can see, 2Gb goes a long way.

£20 including postage ?

I found Amazon to be a very cheap place to get the TTDS, around £15 ish posted, but this is without the memory card.

I bought one of the TTDS cards about a month ago. All work well for a couple of weeks but it has recently become very unstable.
Games not loading and the DS freezing, DS not recognising the card or when you are in the middle of a game the DS reports the card has been removed.

The best way to keep the games working is to limit the number of games on it to only a couple.

Don't expect it to be perfect!

For anyone still wanting to buy, I'd suggest checking out www.dealextreme.com

Very good company, can pay by Paypal, and free postage to boot! Never had any issues with them, and have ordered a lot of stuff from there.

I personally own the Supercard version, bit more expensive, but haven't found anything it won't play

As previously mentioned would make good presents (even though it is October! )

You must have been unlucky, I know of at least 8 people with these, some have had them for almost a year with no issues. In fact my daughters had hers since last christmas, it's full to the brim with games, no problems.
