Need a laptop for mobile use in the van whilst out working. If I go for a deal on contract does someone do a gizzmo that would allow internet access on the pc at home.Trying to do this with one contract but access for two computers.one mobile and one static at home.

yep a wireless card or dongle, not as fast as home broadband but you can use it on both machines

Look here: Orange Home and Mobile Broadband

USB 3G dongle for the laptop, wireless ADSL for home.

BT offered me a mobile broadband pay as you go dongle for £5, so i took it. IT came with £40 of credit, andive only used about £3. Ive had it for 4 months too.

It connects my laptop to t'internet wherever i am. Its great,.

I bought a Vodafone one when I moved house to tie me over til I got things sorted. £39 inc £15 credit which is 1 GB of usage. Its plenty fast enough on 3G areas, but where theres only normal GPRS covereage it a bit slow, but fine for checking/sending emails.

I've got a 3 one and it's pants, signal is all over the place and the barstuds charged me £80 for downloading 8gig in 45 mins, despite giving them proof that it's not possible.

T-mobile do one that's a tenner for a day, not bad if you'll be using it a lot
