OT Sony WEGA TV and Home Cinema got to go!
Evening all,
(where is the biggest Wahoooooo smiley in the world?)
I have been given permission by SWMBO to "invest" in a new HD tv, DVD player and surround sound system for our house. I am truly ecstatic,
but before we can get it, the olde setup has to go. Looking at the prices on good old ebay, CRT TV's don't seem to fetch much money now,
neither to secondhand DVD players either. So I thought I would offer it here first, and pass the ebay fee savings on to you!
So, we are selling a Sony WEGA widescreen TV (28", modelnumber KV28CS7OU) which is in immacualte condition. It is a really nice TV, and has a
really nice picture quality. It comes with all the usual TV bits, such as an on/off button, a remote control, a side panel for A/V inputs etc etc. It
also has an specially designed stand with a couple of glass shelves under it.
The DVD player is another Sony unit, and is a Sony DAV-SC5. It has a built in 5.1 surround sound amplifier, a which is fantastic. It comes with a
beefy Subwoofer, and 4 satellite speakers, and one centre speaker. The sound is very clear, and can be tweaked to suit the room and your layout. It
has a load of expansion ports on the back for component inputs, optical input, and Scart output. It comes with teh original remote control, and plays
DVDs, CDs and has a built in radio.
Both these items are just less than 5 years old, and were working perfectly to the best of my knowledge. The DVD player does occasionally get stuck,
but I am not sure if it is down to a dusty mechanism, or a fault of sort, or just dodgy copied discs... ahem! I think we paid over £600 for it new,
and looking on EBay, we will be struggling to get over £100 for it now!
For that reason, I am open to offers. The sooner it goes, the sooner I can move into the world of flight simulators and Mario Kart and DVDs in HD
goodness An offer of £100 will be really nice though, enough to take SWMBO and myself out for a slap up christmas dinner!
The only condition is that you must be able to come and pick it up from North Wales. I don't think the TV will fit in our car at all (we should
still have the original boxes and packaging in the loft). Postage is certainly not an option, unless you want to pay for it, plus my time in wrapping
it up nicely
If anyone needs to see any any pictures, just shout. The items are in excellent condition externally. It's almost a shame to sell them really,
but needs must
Any questions, just ask!
Cheers
Andy
Dammit! Too many decisions....
