Westfield 1990 SE Xflow

I think the time has come to move on. I have owned the car for 14 years and have upgraded and maintained it over the years. You can see the car in the most recent issue of Westfield World – it’s pictured in front of the Stoneleigh sign with my wife and myself in it. More pictures below.

· Westfield SE Narrow body
· Approx. 16K miles
· Registered 1990 as a Westfield on V5
· MOT June 2017 (I have most of the previous MOT certificates)
· 1632cc Ford Kent Crossflow engine in a decent spec (more details below)
· Originally a kit build but rebuilt by Westfield on new chassis in 1993. I have correspondence from Westfield for work done.

Engine:
· 1632cc Ford Kent Crossflow
· I have details of engine rebuild but cannot confirm as it was done prior to my ownership (new pistons, new oil pump, new timing chain, new exhaust valves, cam followers)
· 711 Block
· Fast road cam – exact spec unknown
· Gas flowed head
· Twin Weber 40 carbs
· K&N filters
· Jenvey Dynamics baffled sump so no oil surge
· Unleaded head
· Westfield 4 branch stainless manifold
· Westfield stainless silencer with alloy guard

· Very little oil thrown into catch can
· I have always used Valvoline Racing 20/50 oil – changed every year

Rolling road print out from John Wilcox showed approx. 100bhp at wheels (120bhp ish at flywheel)

Gearbox / Final Drive:
· Ford Type 9 5 speed gearbox supplied by Westfield
