Pair of virtually new weber 45's + linkage + pinto manifold + filters + tps!!!!

Eh up,

Decided the best way to afford the SVA test is to sell my current set up and opt for bike carbs instead.

So up for sale is my pair of weber 45 carbs. These were purchased by myself brand new, and have been used on a fully reconned pinto for approximatly 30 minutes IN TOTAL! They have the trupets fitted etc, and were sold to me as being jetted for the pinto engine.

also included is the pinto manifold bought new with them

and the pipercross double socks (these were purchased second hand, have a couple of scuffs, but definatly serve the purpose

Plus the throttle position sensor and bespoke bracket to mount it (for that all important megajolt install)

Plus the throttle linkages etc.

In all this is at least £750 worth of equiptment, that has been used for about half an hour!

looking for £500 ono. come on, help a fellow locoster get another one road legal.

Cheers,

Martin

PS. This is all still on the car right now, but will be coming off on saturday all being well. I can take some pics n post up tomorrow if you want.

I reckon i could do, but no idea of how much it'll cost, or how to go about it. (don't fancy popping them down to the post office and putting them on their scales, unless there's a better and cheaper method.)

any ideas?

unless you've found a cheap manifold and a bargainous filter, there's no money to be saved going bike carbs.

bogg brothers manifold w/carbs fitted - £260
carbs - £40
filter - £120
pump - £20
new flexible fuel pipe - £5
throttle cable - £5-10
carriage, probably £40 all in

if what you have is new, works and you stand to lose money on it, it's a false economy.

just my 2p
tom
