fitting diff

hi all just about to fit my diff to my mk indy do you need to use some sort of rubber bushes when mounting it . to stop any vibration

you don't have to but you can rubber bushes if you like. Leaving them out just means all the gear whine (quite loud) gets transmitted to the chassis. Plastic bushes will also be very noisy. Though I think MK may have just left them out, my old chassis had them.

I used some rubber doughnuts to remove some of the noise. Then again you have to bolt the diff in place pretty well so the doughnut is pretty much crushed.

Strange choice of forum section BTW!!!!
