Toyoya 4AGE 1.6 16v motor+omex+type9etc
I am selling here a kit of parts for someone who wants to go 750mc racing or a nice road/track package. I got some of these parts in a part-built-kit
purchase and collected some myself but have now gone another route.
The parts are:
Toyota 1.6 16v 4AGe motor, This is a phase2 with the stronger bottom end with 42mm crank journals, runs inleaded and should run to 8500rpm. Bought
secondhand, not run, turns over smoothly. Retail Bare £440
Omex 100 ECU programmed for webbers Retail £405
Omex wiring loom Retail £47
Omex connectors Retail £23
Omex coil pack Retail £70
Omex castelated crank sensor Retail £29
Omex Crank sensor Retail £30
4AGE to twin webber inlet manifold Retail £158
s/h starter Retail £25
s/h alternator Retail £45
Alloy bellhousing 4AGE to Type 9 Retail £252
Facet fuel pump for Webers Retail £93
Profuel pressure regulator for above Retail £99
s/h type 9 £50
The parts (minus motor) would retail at £1326. I would sell for half this if all bought together and picked up. The motor would retail at £440 but
although I believe and was told that it was a low mileage runnerI have not seen it run so would sell for £100 on that basis.
So, the full parts + motor deal would be £763. I think that seems fair. And, yes, Bert down the road may have a Type9 for £35 but these seem true
prices and a good discount.
Remember, Gary Goodyear in a Striker 4AGE 1.6 16v on carbs with an Omex ignition only ECU won the 750MC in 2006 and 2007. Not that I am guaranteeing
racing success, just selling these parts!
