Mr. Whippy, I used to have one of these, back in the '50s. Not as neat as per your pic, but at least I got it going. Had to sell it, alas.

I do unless I drive in converse boots or bare-foot..... Just in case my header tank explodes I tend to drive in the boots.... I know the boots
wouldn't offer much protection from boiling coolant but something's better than nothing....
