I've heard paypal offer more protection for buyers than sellers. The other scam I've heard is you offer to buy something, pay through
paypal and ask you to drop it off with a friend. Friend takes the item all nice and polite etc then by the time you get home the transfer has been
cancelled and the money is gone. It sounds like the money gets transferred from another person's account and then retracts it because they never
authorised the payment (I never bought a macbook!)
Seller has no comeback...
