Breaking M reg Volvo 850SE
Been asked to pass on a message from one of Sarahs dads friends.
Might be a useful/different donor. I believe the engines are pretty tunable.
He has a M reg Volvo 850 SE Estate. 2.5 petrol engine.
Its been stoved in at the front where he hit a tractor. So the rad, front wings and bonnet are gone. And the insurance company have told him its a
total right off.
However its a runner (driven on and off the lorry) with good engine and gearbox.
All panels, interior etc all good.
If anyone wants anything from it please let me know so I can pass on the message. Need to know in the next week, otherwise it is going down the
scrappys.
Cheers,
David

To be honest, I have no idea, the above is all the info I have at the moment. I can find out though.
Not sure if its the 144 or 170bhp model, I would say its most likely the 145bhp one. (You probably know more about this than me)
Should add, although it is driveable, it would need trailering away if anyone wanted the whole car.
Cheers.

if it says DOHC on the cam covers it will be a 10v .
if it says 20v , then its a erm 20v
regardless of the BHP rating , ill think about it if its a 20v .

OK update:
10 valve engine, so it would be the 145bhp version.
Its done 180k miles, but for a volvo, not a lot really!
If anyone wants the whole car they can take it away for £200. The rest of the parts would be worth more than that.
The blokes not really interested in selling odd bits off it.
The blokes from the insurance scrappy is coming on monday to take it away, so need to know asap if anyone wants it so he can let them know not to
bother.
All the docs are with the insurance company apparently.
