Is it just a bolt on jobbie? any complex stuff involved in disasembly of drum, or fitting the disc kit?

You usually have to get the drive flanges machined down a bit to fit inside the discs.

The brackets will fit an Atlas Capri type axle as well. The flanges need about 3mm off them to clear if you use Fiesta discs. You need to pull the
half shafts to get the back plates off.

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I've checked and the discs DO fit over standard halfshaft drive flanges without any mods/machining required. i have a couple of pics which
I'll upload tonight when I get home.
Dangle, to answer your question properly though, the drums come off very easily once you've withdrawn the half shaft (they fall off!), so
you'd just need to check brake line lengths etc to the new calipers. The new caliper brackets bolt on using 3 of the 4 bolt holes used to hold
the half shaft and old drum in position, it may need longer bolts to do this which I don't think are in the kit but they're fairly
standard sized bolts (M10 I think) you could get from a nut and bolt place quite easily, I might even have some in my nuts and bolts drawers that
would be suitable.
I guess the trickiest bit may be sorting out the new handbrake cables, but if you've already got separate cables running to each wheel (rather
than one cable and a metal bar actiaving the other drum like standard Escort setup) I suspect they'd work anyway
cheers
Chris
