Zetec Temp Sender

I have a Racetech mechanical water temp gauge I want to use on my zetec engine.

Top is the Ford sensor as found on top of the silvertop thermostat housing. What thread is it please??

Bottom is the Racetech sender, I believe it is a 3/8 BSP. Is that right?

Where can I get an adapter to screw into the thermostat housing moving the sensor up enough for it not to foul the thermostat inside.

I've tried the Burton and Demon Tweeks catalogues and while Demon Tweeks has a wide selection of bits and bobs can't see what I'm after.

Can anyone help/done this already??

Thanks,
Steve

Steve, have you tried LMA? They have a massive range of adaptors in brass.

Thats OK, not using an ECU so don't need it. I have my Acewell plumbed into the 1/8 one underneath and I don't believe a word it says.

Mike, the LMA gauge fitting section doesn't work!

I believe the reducer is a rubber item that screws into the stat housing and the sender screws into that. Brother in law has instruments from etb who suppled the reducer we did have a small problem with it seeping though
