How to unlock a punto without a key?
Long story, but my mates ex missus has dumped her car blocking his drive and locked the car up. Any tricks on how to unlock a punto? Also its an auto,
if he puts it in neutral without the engine running will he be able to roll it??

How about just get two jacks with wheels on. Lift it up, and roll it out of the way!?

call the council and get it towed?
ETA: if he's not the registered keeper and damages it moving it, he might be liable for criminal damage. better to get the council to remove it,
he can keep his hands clean then....

Normally yes. If you can get it unlocked, get under the bonnet and take a couple of plugs out of disconnect the battery. Teach her a lesson

call the local car breaker and get them to remove it ;-) wont ever come back then.
other option.
fiat lock barrels are only held in with a feeble wire clip. screw a slide hammer into the lock and pull the barrel out. once the barrel is out you
can just turn the bit in the hole to unlock it.

Get a few mates, bounce it into the middle of the road, then call the council telling them there is an abandoned car in the middle of the road

regular, normal, house brick should do it.
I'm sure vandalism is rife around there (wherever it is)

If she's a psycho bunny boiler type, I expect that's what she's after.
I'd call the council, say there's a car been dumped there for a few days, blocking access (not sure on the laws on this, possibly a police
matter rather than a council matter?)

Aye call the police and report a vehicle blocking access and egress to your drive. They should come round give it a ticket and have it towed.
That's what happens around here. Costs £15 a day storage and whatever the towing fee. It's £105 possibly up to £115 I think if it's
towed for no road tax, can't remember off the top of my head.

trouble with reporting is that its registered in his name! He offered to tax it for her and this is what he got in return!!
The bunny boiler comment doesn't even come close to whats going on!!!

If its registered in his name then its his car he can move it any way he sees fit. I think bouncing out of the way or dragging it with a large car
would be the way to go.

Surely then it's his car, and he can do what he likes.
Like have it crushed and dumped on her doorstep.

If its registered to him, he can do what he likes. If he doesnt want it, take a hammer to it.

Can't he phone fiat and get a spare key?
If it's registered in his name there should be no problems getting the immobiliser code/keys.

he wont get any key info without V5 witch i guess the boiler still has them, and if its on his drive its a civil mater plus its still his, no reason
why you could not go buy a couple of £25 halfords jaks and shift it

tow it, you don't really need a huge 4x4 to do it either. I used my Subaru Legacy AWD (in the low box admittedly) with avon 'fast
road' tyres in a soggy field to pull an old opel manta with 4 seized brakes, that was fun!! had no problems, probably could have done it in
normal box to be honest! Also pulled the old horsey box off the grass which tends to have stiff wheels until they break free and start rolling again!

On a legal note, the "Registered Keeper" on the V5 has nothing to do with ownership.
If he crushes it etc. it could possibly rebound on him

Put a rope on it and pull it out of the way. Cit the handbrake cables to make it easier. But if its in his name you need ot get it somewhere not
illegal or it will come back on him.
Have it crushed and say no more.
