Juast back from rolling road!

Hi guys

Just got back from my rolling road session at Hitech motorsport in cradley heath.

Just want to first say that Mick is a top bloke and couldn't do enough to help me!!

After changing the chokes and pump jets he managed to squeeze 130bhp out of the crossflow which was more than I was expecting. It idles great now and is so much more driveable than before!

He was recommended to me by Dave Ashurst and I will be passing on the reccomendation too!

Shaun

Thats a good result for a crossflow. 130 will make it entertaining.

Shaun,

Can I ask how much it cost as I am thinking of putting mine thru a rolling road but did not know about hitech.

It is just down the road from me. Did you have to book it and wait long for a free day to turn up..

regards

He charges 90 + vat for the session, that includes pretty much all his time to get the car running right, unless there is somet major amiss.

Basically he changed 4 chokes, 4 air jets, 3 or 4 power runs, plugs, timing and compression check and a big smile on my face for £160 inc parts and vat!

Waiting time was roughly a week when I booked!

Thanks for the recommendation. I have been looking for a good localish rolling road. I've just booked a session in a couple of weeks time.
