R1 can for sale

Brought on fleabay about a year ago. Iv never used it and have now decided to use my jags silencer.

Has this got the "3 bolt" fixing or is it a normal push on pipe? What dimensions?

I've got one (1.4 K series) but people have got them on loads of other engines, up to 2 litre Zetecs at least.

If it is exactly the same as mine the inlet pipe is one piece, i.e. not bolted on, so you will have to cut it and either replace or join up. Also, it's 60mm so you will most likely need a reducer.

Info on how I did mine here

Since then I have changed the manifold (not really relevant to the can!) and refixed the tail pipe using dome headed bolts fixed into threaded holes in the stub pipe.
