FS: Mint condition MNR Vortx RTIB R1***SOLD***
For sale (Not due to credit crunch, due to buying tin top)
MNR Vortx RT inboard, '05 R1 engine with a total of 6000miles on it (had 4200 miles when fitted to car) so done about 1800 miles since being
fitted in the Vortx.
Car is on a 'G' plate and is correctly registered as an MNR. It was SVA'd in June 2008 and on the road in July 2008.
Most of the car is new apart from the upper steering column, diff, drive shafts and rear disc calipers all of which have been reconditioned to new and
are Sierra items hence the age related plate.
Here's the full spec:
MNR Vortx RT inboard in Red with Red and Black arches.
Taxed untill 31/09/09. MOT not due untill 9/7/2011
Meta 357T V2 Thatcham Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser.
2005 R1 engine with sump baffle. Run on Castrol fully sythetic racing oil. (Oil and filter changed recently)
The clocks are from the bike so the mileage shown is the correct mileage for the engine.
Dunning and Fairbank TRT Prop shaft.
Power commander III USB
Full MNR stainless exhaust system
Pipercross panel airfilter.
Brand new SPA dual digital oil pressure and oil temp gauge fitted 3/6/09 (gauge cost £165).
Racetech mirriors.
Sabelt 4 point harnesses.
Bias adjustable pedal box.
Savage Start switch.
OMP flat bottomed suede steering wheel.
Protech adjustable shocks.
Team dynamics Pro race 1.2 wheels in anthracite colour with Toyo R888 tyres which have loads of tread left.
Raceleda/MNR alloy front uprights and hubs.
Raceleda R16 4pot racing calipers and grooved solid discs.
Rear solid discs and reconditioned calipers.
Fully reconditioned 3.38:1 diff (All internals are new except for crown wheel and pinion work carried out by road and race transmissions)
MNR fiberglass seats and Cobra seat runners on both.
The car has been fully set up for corner weights and geometry by Andy at AB performance and handles and drives superb. The car weighs 478 KG's
with half a tank of fuel.

Nice car but a bit over enthusiastic on the price since 07 reg's have got between 9200 and 10k

Not quite sure what you mean?
It was registered in 2008, on a age related 'G' plate from the donor V5. I didn't want to try for new reg with the reconditioned
parts on it in case they noticed them, then I would have had to have a 'Q' which was the last thing I wanted.
I think it is priced about right considering you never get what it is advertidsed for.
If it goes I'll get the new tin top if it don't, I won't, simple's

There is nothing wrong with the Vortx. I think people are noticing them for sale now as usually there's not many for sale compared to all the
other makes out there.
