Boxster undercar pipes
Hi Guys,
Quick question, friend jacked up his boxster, rear, right hand side, and pinched a rubber pipe.
The pipe was under pressure, and released some sort of gas. (may have been steam).
Does anyone know what these pipes are? I assumed water pipe, but believe the rads are in the back?!!?
Thanks.

Aircon i would say, Try the AC and see if it works, if not then there is no gas left in the system!
Rear engine and the pump will be on the engine and run forwards under the car to the heat exchanger and the vents into the cabin.
DONT go to porsche for the repair, take it to your local A/C guy (in yellow pages), they will cut the pipe and put a joint in it and regas it for you
for probably half of what porsche will charge for a replacement pipe!
