Corsa electric steering column with ECU and controller

Vauxhall Corsa electric power steering column. Comes with:

- Genuine GM Motor
- Corsa ECU
- Variable speed mod box

Bought for my Escort, but had change of plan. Never used it, but I've no reason to suspect anything is wrong.

If you don't already know, these have an electric motor half way down the column which, along with a torque sensor, provides electric assistance to the steering instead of the conventional hydraulic rack. The advantages are that there is no hydraulic pump running constantly, so no power drain on the engine, but also that it's a lot less complicaticated to retro-fit to a car that didn't come with factory power steering option - ie most of our projects!!

All the bits are there that you need to wire it up in a kit or other non-Vauxhall car. Just hook up live and earth from the battery to the column itself, and ignition live to the controller.

Has a variable speed control knob for your dash so you can vary the amount of assistance.

REDUCED PRICE: £100 or very near offer. Can post to most of UK mainland for £7.

Cheers, Chris

Bump at reduced price for a Locost Builder. Otherwise will be going on eBay after the weekend.
