westfield for sale ? value and any interest
Hi everyone,
Unfortunately having virtually finished my car I have had to move else where in the country and don't have anywhere to keep it, so I’m going to
sell it to fund work in my new house
It’s a pre litigation Westfield originally bought in 1987. At which time the buyer brought a reconditioned engine, gearbox and axle. Unfortunately for
him he never got round to finishing it. Fortunately for me however I brought it and set about rebuilding it and finally managed to get it through its
sva last year.
Car was stripped to bare chassis and rebuilt from the ground up and is as follows:
EXTERIOR –
- Black Aero screen
- Black cycle wings
- Mocal aero fuel cap
- AEZ alloy wheels + 1 spare wheel (which has a scratch on it)
The exterior does have some dull areas and has a star crack on the nose cone under the Westfield sticker, it also has some sanding marks on it where I
started polishing the body but ran out of time prior to sva so had to finish as was.
CHASSIS-
- Chassis and suspension components blasted and re-powder coated when build started
- Repaneled in new aluminium
- Yellow poly suspension bushes
- New ball joints all round
- Spax suspension units
INTERIOR
- Ace well digital Speedo
- Black Luke 4 point harnesses
- Savage switches
- Momo Gear knob
- Raid snap off steering wheel boss fitted with yellow and black steering wheel
- Honda S2000 push start button
Brakes
- Rebuilt ford m16 callipers
- New brake pipes
- New master cylinder
- New rear brake drums, shoes and wheel cylinders
- New pipes throughout
Fuel system
-Kawasaki Zx6r motorcycle carburettors with matching electric fuel pump
- New fuel pipes throughout
Engine Bay
- 1600cc Cross flow
- New water pump
- Many new gaskets and seals
- Electric cooling fan
- Recent battery
- Alloy rocker cover
- Ford e2000 gearbox (believed to be a rocket box but not sure)
- New clutch
OTHER
- new premier wiring loom
- taxed for 4 or 5 months
I was wondering what people feel its worth. It’s a nice car which is fun to drive, but due to lack of time since sva it could do with finishing
touches completed to make it the car I planned
if the pictures haven't worked see my archie under westy
the car is kept in poole dorset
