FS: Honda Fireblade, complete bike fitted with 893 engine

Hello Chaps

I have decided that I will never ride a bike again so my old fireblade is up for sale at £900 including leathers and boots to fit someone around 5'8"" with size 9 feet. These bikes usually make £1000 on ebay.

I have owned it for maybe 8 years, never really rode it that much to be honest, I just wanted one! The last time I rode it was to the moto GP at Catalunya about 4 years ago, caught the Portsmouth boat to Bilbao, then across the Pyrenees mountains, back via the Millau Viaduct to Calais, the bike has been collecting dust since.

It had new chain and sprockets before going, on the way back the front wheel bearing got noisy and I never bothered to fix, while it has stood around the indicators have suffered while I forced my way past it so no MOT.

The bike is painted in repsol colours (bit scruffy now) and is on a Q plate, pile of reciepts for the parts as it was built up from bits years ago, battery will have expired years ago It also has a CBR600 16" front wheel.

Anyway before it goes on Ebay I,m offering it here so you could do the bearing, couple of cheap indicators and be on the road for £1000 + gloves and a hat, not bad for a bike that will do in excess of 155mph.

Handling on these old things is great, my mate had an 06 R1, I could not out accelerate him but had no problem holding on to his tails on the bends, these old bikes were designed to get the pegs down, you could of course just track it.

Delivery possible within 50 miles of Uxbridge but you will have to pay for my fuel both ways.

I can only find one photo and its rubbish, hidding behind my inverted chassis if anyone is seriously interested I will dig it out at the weekend and take a few more.
