oil pressure gauge

as above wanting to fit a oil pressure gauge to my blade engine, can i just fit any i now i got to modify it it fit ,just need to now if i need a special gauge to fit the bike engine

Any oil pressure gauge will do.

If you get an electric one then you need to run the sender off a bit of hose, the engine vibrations will kill it otherwise.

The standard light sender sits in a big bung, you can undo this and tap to whatever your fitting is

I got this reply when I asked about the thread size on a 919 Blade.

The thread is M10 x 1.5 but it might be easier to remove the boss that it screws into and retap it 1/8 npt as most of the aftermarket senders use this. The boss can be removed from the main oil gallery using a 17mm socket but it is real tight usually. Be creful when refitting the boss as it is M2o fine and easily cross theaded

In would go with a stack mechanical one. Not too expensive and good quality. I have one on my s2000 engined mnr

i was supplied flexi hose and adapter by ETB to replace the standard pressure light switch. spoke to them the other day to find out thread it would of been and he was sure it was 1/8 BSP

well i spoke to andy at ab performance and he said if i send him my new sender when i get o ne will make me the full unit for me so i will do that
