What fuel pump?
Hi People.
I am putting together a BEC with CBR1000 engine.
It is carbs and I would like to know which fuel pump to get? I don't want one of those old "ticking" mini style ones, obviously it
must be a low pressure one not the type that you fit to a fuel injected car.
Any ideas and a link to somewhere to buy it from online would be most appreciated.

Most reliable solution will be the pump which is used on the bike, it will be an old fashioned "ticking" type.
Nearly all the big carbed bikes used the same pumps manufactured by Mitsubishi, ZZR1100 seem to be the cheapest on ebay at about £25.

Hi
We used a ZX9R pump for our R1 carbed engined Indy & it works fine.
Small & neat with filter
see our photo archive
good luck

Thanks for that, but they are £75.00 on e-bay looking at them, the cheapest I could see was one for £45.00 second hand.
Any other ideas? I'm skint.

pump
Hi
Try motorcycle breakers ?
Why are you worried about ticking , you'l never hear it above the noise anyway
so a cheap mini one would probably do .
