Westfield steering boss?

I have been updating the steering on my Westfield Megabusa

The adapter boss is no longer of any use as I have just cut off the splines that mated with it and welded on something else.

I thought it might be of use to one of you, so I am posting the details.

It appears to be an adapter for an Austin Alegro steering column (cos that's what they fitted to early Westfields apparently). 3/4" diameter with ~48 splines. The column had a hole down the middle to take a 14mm (0.55" bolt at ~18TPI.

It has a taper on one end to mate with the steering column about 1/2" down.

It is marked (not by me) as UK 154?

I have the Alegro indicator switch to go with this part if it is of use.

This is likely to either get lost in my workshop or thrown out at some point. If it is of value please let me know.

P.S. I have a CNC mill so I can pop some holes to suit your application if it helps. I have an existing adapter to the normal 6 hole format if it helps.
