Full tank for IVA retest?
Hi Everyone,
I have my IVA retest tomorrow, failure points were..
CO content above limit.
12v aux socket didn't meet radius requirements.
Couple of cable ties needed turning round.
Carpet on bulkhead touching column.
Ive now sorted these, do I need to present the car with a full tank of fuel again?
Thanks,
Shaun

As far as I know they only check the items that failed. tank full is a leak type test.

Cheers for that, car isn't going to be registered for a fair while after IVA so I didn't want to fill it up only for me to have to drain
it all after!

Mainly used for the brake effort/weight tests according to my tester.

Nice one!
Is that just over a year to build? Why are you not planning on registering it straight away?

Thanks guys,
TBH I think I will register it now, not sure how long it usually takes anyway! I started the build exactly a year ago today which was a
coincidence!
Josh was a fair tester, although the test did take the full 6 1/2 hours. Keith did the retest and I got the feeling it would of taken him half that
time if he had done the test!!!
Nowt really to look out for, although one thing Josh was hot on was exterior projections and enough thread showing after a nut. Everything else was as
you would expect in the manual.
Thanks again,
Shaun

Hehehe!
Does the first reg fee (£55) and tax (6 months 126.50) have to be separate cheques? Who do they need to be made payable to - DVSA?
Thanks,
Shaun
