FS: Jeep Patriot

Selling my Jeep Patriot privately rather than PX'ing as I'll get annoyed when I see it on auto trader for £5K next week. It needs a little work either before or around the next MOT, hence the price.

£3500 ONO
Body
2007 (57) Jeep Patriot Limited 2.0 CRD
75,000 miles
Cambelt done at 60000
MOT till March
Excellent Blue body work
Heated Leather Seats, Electric Sunroof, Electric Mirrors, CD/Stereo, reverse parking sensors, 4WD, tow bar. Good tyres all round.
This is a great car for taking the kids and dog out to the forest, where you don't mind it getting muddy. Gets 40Mpg on average.

It had the following advisories on the last MOT:
Front lower control arm ball joint has slight play
Rear upper stabiliser arms have slight play
Rear Strut has slight misting.

The control arm is £80 for a MOOG unit, about £30 per rear stabiliser arm and about £70 for each KYB strut (you'd do both at the same time). Plus labour to fit.

Two weeks ago the rear sub frame and rear drop links were replaced by Jeep warranty.

The drivers seat has a small tear in the leather.

Any viewing welcome, I've priced at £3.5K to allow for the work required. I can email pictures, or post one once I figure out how to upload it.

Location in Warsash near Southampton.

I should mention - a quick search on this forum will reveal the various issues I've had and how much I dislike Jeep.

I'm obviously getting inundated with questions on this, so I'll try and reply to you all here.

Q. I've seen your other posts about this Jeep. How do you have the bare faced cheek to sell it here?

A. One man's junk is another man's treasure.

Q. Three and a half grand? Is there two grand behind the seat?

A. Maybe. There's definitely 20p and a Worthers Original.

Q. I had one of these. They're sh1t aren't they?

A. At least you can polish this one.

Q. I've got an old Skoda to get rid of. Fancy stoving your Jeep into it?

A. Best offer so far.
