I am selling my part built Sylva Verctis J16 project which comprises a rolling chassis, bodywork and most of the parts needed to complete the build.
The full kit was bought from Sylva Sportcars in 2017 and been assembled to rolling chassis stage using all new parts. The chassis itself is the last
chassis manufactured by Jeremy Phillips before he sold the company.
All the wishbones, balljoints, uprights, hubs, bearings, brakes, steering rack, shock absorbers, gearlinkage and handrbrake cables, stainless steel
water pipes etc are new and have been fitted to rolling chassis stage.
The chassis has been assembled with new Avo coilovers and is rolling on MGF ‘minilte’ wheels with Toyo tyres.
The engine is a low mileage (44K) 1.8K Series VVC with close ratio gearbox.
The sale includes a full set of bodywork in blue, including the rare full windscreen and windscreen wiper set up including motor and wiper arms etc ,
along with all lights, light covers, hinges etc. Please note the bodywork was removed from another car that had covered 1500miles and is therefore is
not new, however it is in very good condition all round with no scrapes or stonechips etc. The stripes are vinyl and can be easily removed.
The rolling chassis comes with most of the major items required to finish, including radiator and fans, a full uncut loom from the donor with every
connection labelled, ECU, ignition barrel, key etc to make finishing it it straight forward. The new and unfitted Sylva pedals are there along with
new master cylinders, again from Sylva. The aluminium sheet from Sylva the floor panels comes with the sale also. There is also a bolt on roll bar.
There is no fuel tank, but these are available from Sylva, although the fuel sender and pump are included. Seats, gauges & harnesses will also be
required to complete.
I have all the receipts for the kit from Sylva, along with the donor car V5 (sorn), the build manual and build photographs supplied by Sylva, chassis
plate and badges.
Please note that the car is not registered and will need to go through an IVA test once complete if it is to be used on the road. It has been built to
a good standard to date to IVA spec.
The chassis and bodywork are in very good condition and built to a good standard. One too many project forces sale.
The car is located in Wiltshire SN15 and is avialable for viewing. This is a cash / bank transfer sale only and full funds will be required before
being released. The chassis will need to be transported / trailered and a transit type van will be needed for the bodywork etc.
