front uprights

can the front uprights of a sierra be used instead of the cortina on a avon. If not what has to be changed

Do you have the Avon book ?

If so it shows pictures of the Sierra uprights in use.

you will need mushroom inserts for the tops of the uprights. Not sure whether you need different wishbones ?
Tiger can confirm and supply the parts you need.

FWIW - why are you bothering with the sierra uprights anyway? it would be worth trying to get cortina ones if you can - Sierra's uprights look a b*stard when fitted...... IMHO!

Top bone will need modding for sure as the ball joint centres are different from the Cortina ones.
