Gaz shocks body length calculations

Hi,

Please can someone check my calculations before I order!

Frame is a +4 wide book chasis (cortina front uprights) but with custom IRS rear end using Sierra diff.

Front Shock mounts:
- ride height: 10 1/2"
- bump stop: 9 1/2"

Rear Shock mounts:
- ride height: 9"
- bump stop: 8"

For the front, Gaz shocks with a closed length of 8 1/2" (gives 9 1/2" bump and has an open length of 12" ) should be ok.

For the rear, I could go for the Gaz shocks of closed length 7" (the bump stop adds 1" ) but the fully open length is only 9" so I would not have any available sag.
The 7.5" closed length shock would give plenty of sag (10" open length), but only allow 1/2" upward movement of the wheel!

I guess if I move my upper shock mount up slightly then I could go with the 7.5" closed length shocks.

This is how the rear shock mounts are at the moment:

Thanks!
