FS/Wots it worth: Rover V8 and box (SD1)

I've got a car which I *might* break - depends what I can get for a Rover V8 and 5 speed box, both from SD1 with the std twin carbs and Lumenition electronic ignition.

Pull really well and doesn't rattle or smoke and still driveable in the car.

Its just a shame that the car *could* be worth more in pieces that in one bit.

Anyone actively looking for a RV8? I know they aren't rare but doesn't hurt to ask.

the SD1 is a popular classic with all the repair panels available, seems a shame to condemn it. Why not advertise in on the owners club -

Fair enough, I suppose it could be read either way. I was just trying to state its a RV8 from an SD1 originally - i.e. SD1 spec. And not a 90bhp land rover lump with rope crank seals etc!

Anyway - any idea what its worth?

Nooooooo its not in an SD1 its in another car!

I said RV8 (SD1) so people would know the spec roughly as there are a LOT of different spec RV8's around.

It started life in an SD1 so its SD1 spec.

The car its in now is irrespective as to this thread as I'm only trying to find out what its worth (and possibly if anyone is after one!)
