Black top Zetec (swap for Silver top?)

1.8 black top Zetec from a 97 Focus. Bought from eBay, so never heard running. Was told 50,000 miles which seems believable.

Complete with inlet, throttle body, exhaust manifold with cat, injector rail, alternator, etc.

I've stripped off the front covers, water pump housing, etc during investigations. Everything is there, but you will have to bolt it back together again. Bought this for a swap into my mk3 XR3, but it looks like it's going to be a nightmare to get the engine mount to clear the timing belt. It's been done plenty of times for RWD cars though.

So....

Would consider a swap for a 1.8 or 2.0 silver top Zetec, as I've done this conversion and know what to change. Possible cash either way - open to negotiations!

Otherwise £150 ono for the engine as it stands. Could deliver, depending on distance.

Cheers, Chris

Sorry fella, that's a long way from here. If you can arrange collection that's fine, or I can put it on a pallet.

Any pics of how the mount is causing a problem?

There's some info (and pics) in this thread on the XRTwo board. Basically I'm told I'm wrong, and that it's dead easy... but nobody seems to be giving information about how to fit the engine mount:
