Megajolt sensors MAP or TPS

Guys going to place an order for my megajolt kit, but i'm still undecided what sensor set up tp go for, I've read a lot about both set ups and they both have pro's and con's.

I'll be using the megajolt on a k-series engine running bike carbs.

Any help would be greatfully recieved.

This is my first time using a megajolt system so be ready for loads more questions

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

for simplicity and reliability personally i would go TPS choose the right carbs and they should have a tps on them already just a case of calibrating it once the megajolt is in and wired

Been there, done both...

MAP with a single carb is easy, and probably the most accurate. It can be done with multiple carbs but it's a lot of faffing about for little extra value.

TPS is theoretically not as good as MAP, but it's so much easier to get working properly that it outweighs any potential disadvantage. In practical terms, it works well enough that you won't notice the difference, and it's 100 times better than some random mechanical dizzy weight swinging!

TPS it is then, spoke to Martin Millener, was put in touch with him by Bill Shurvinton, he's selling kits in the uk.

He told me they were btween version3 and version4. So i'm going to wait a couple of weeks on version4, as he said there was a few small bugs in it at present.

Again thanks for all the advice.

I would vote TPS too.

for MAP, would you not need to plumb the vacuum take off from all 4 (assuming this numebr of cylinders and carbs) together?

With throttle bodies or multiple carbs MAP is a PITA to get working.
If you have a turbo it's essential though.
