FS: Cheap 406 needing love

The time has come to get rid of my old 406. I have driven it daily for the last four years and it has given very little trouble. Never broken down (1 cylinder was a passenger for a few days though) or been off the road for more than a few hours.

1995 N 2.0 GLX Petrol, dark metallic blue, 146K.

Good bits:

MOT until 22nd October 08.
Tax until end December 08.
3 tyres less than 7 months old.
Was an undercover police car 1st owner so calibrated speedo.
Aircon works.
High scrap value as it is a big heavy fella.
No rust.

Reasonable bits:

I think it has the wrong wiper relay in, passes MOT though.
Uses a bit of oil but not much.
Leaks a bit of oil at top of engine but not much, some part of the breathing I think.
I think it needs an indicator stalk.
General scratches and the odd small dent.

Getting a bit worse bits:

Radiator weeps, has done since I bought it, I top it up every month or so with anti freeze mix. Unused bottle of Radweld included.
Only one rad fan works, I tend not to let it get to hot though (see above). That includes not using the aircon in town.
N/S front tyre scrubbing inside edge a bit (see Bad bits.

Bad bits:

I smoke, the car smells like an ashtray.
Very due a cambelt.
Needs a N/S wishbone bush, it is all over the road.
Backbox needs replacing, could patch it with a big patch.
It is a Peugeot.

Best car I have had in 20 years, just needs some love. The scrap value and the tax is worth £200ish, but it is a bit too good too scrap.

Pictures to follow

£250 anyone? I can deliver - I have a 30 day insurance cross over with the new car.

Pictures at night - not a lot of use but might whet your appetite. If anyone is interested I can take some in the daylight.
