Hi guys.

Im planning to make my yearly pilgrimage to the ring later on this year - sometime in september.

Usually go with a couple of friends and will hopefully this year be going in my kit car.

If anybody is interested in joining us that would be fine, or if anybody want to organise an official trip then no probs!

haha id love to go if my car is finished by then, its one of the first things on the list when the car is finished! hopefully that will be before i go to uni, or it may be another 5 years before ive got enough moolah to finish it and go on trips!

This appeals to me, how much does a car + trailer cost with B&B etc ?

Last year it cost me two tanks of fuel to get there, £50 for the ferry and about 130 for 4 nights in a hotel.

Expect to pay around about £10 a lap and a tank of fuel for a few laps racing!

all in id say around about £450 for a round trip.

haha, i'd use 2 tanks of fuel just getting to dover!

i,m hoping to go back around the end of aug for those that havn't been then you will experiance nothing like it just being there is great personally i wouldn't want to do it in a kit car like a little more tin around me but for the brave then go for it as for costs think it's now 22euros per lap, norfolkline was about the cheapest we found ferries from around £18 each way depending on what time you travel i think we spent around £175 in fuel inc laps and we camped by the ring i think this was 11 euros per person per day in total i spent around £500 in total covering everything but sharing the car/fuel visit www.northloop.com (do need to register on forum)

I am off to the ring in Aug with the Chiltern 7's, to burst my ring cherry.

Looks to be a good group of about 11 of us heading out for a long weekend, including a good number of 7's.

I am budgetting about 500 fo the 4 days.

I'll be there August 20-24.
