Can anyone shed any light on a small round washer/gasket type thingy jobby that fits and works as a gasket to the exhaust manifold. not very descriptive but anyone got one or know where i can get one! cheers
Err, Yamaha dealer p'raps?
They are very cheap IIRC, maybe £5 for a set of 4
Your local Yamaha dealer!
Marc from MNR spent some time in a parts shop and found some the same size for a lot less than Yamaha branded parts. Perhaps he might let you in on his secret.
what's with 2nd hand R1 engines . . . mine has a missing exhaust gasket too !!!!
Bob
They are a throw away item, you need to use a new set every time you bolt the manifold back on!
And cheapones are exactly that. Use Yamaha every time!
