As it says really. I got these without instructions, any-one got a set they could scan for me? Also torque settings, and do I need threadlock?
Can someone recommend a caliper/disk setup they are happy with too. I'm looking at running 13, 14 or 15 inch wheels, bike engine.
Haven't got the torque settings but with the brakes I'd go Wilwood with a solid or cross drilled / grooved disc.
My vented 260mm discs take some heating up even with Wilwoods - they need some vigorous driving to get them to temp
Lyn.
I was thinking of solid disks.
Also, bump
bump to the top.

Bump. Someone has to know surely !!
Hi MNR should have all info re raceleda products.
cheers matt
MNR informed me that all the raceleda stuff should be torqued to cortina specs, since that is what they were designed for.
Specifically:
caliper bolts: 58n/m
disc bolts: 42n/m
caliper mount plate bolts: 30n/m
hub bolts: 42n/m
Oh, and here is a thread on how to torque up the hub:

Oh, and i used loctite...figured it couldn't hurt.
Cheers.
Scotmac what discs/calipers are you using?
Also, in my search I found the cortina stripdown in
