Heres some more pics of this weeks progression...
Fitted the fuel tank on monday. Quite a tight fit, but then again its not a GTS tak, so I was asking for trouble werent i?!
Next came the fun of wiring up. It wasnt as bad as it first seemed thankfully. Most of the wires in the modified MK2 escort loom came in about the
right place.
I finally got aroud to finishing off the carbs, rejetting them and fitting them to the engine. Its filled one side of the engine bay out nicely. Just
need to whack the filters on, then it will be time to cut a hole in the bonnet.
Back to uni on saturday, so I will get the website updated properly then. Does mean the car wont get touched for a few monhs though

out of interest is the tank mounted on an angle? mine is very tight too was going to mount it off perpendicular
Having seen this car in person, i can tell you how well it is going together and how well it looks
Cant wait for summer days to have it out on the norfolk roads! Hopefully if i get my finger out of my ass and order my kit i might be joining
you.
Nice work flak
Thanks for the kind comments gents
The tanks mounted at an angle yes, theres no problem doing that, and I think all locost tanks would be the same in that respect.

Sold three yellow ones in three weeks now, very popular, and i think they look great.
Kind regards,
