With the racing season (and my wedding) rapidly approaching, it is time to sell some the accumulate odds and sods that are filling my garage
First up, 1x 893cc RRN Fireblade engine:
This came as a spare with my race car, I haven't had it running but it was apparently serviceable when removed. It comes complete with carbs and a loom, although it will need a new genny cover. It is sat on a std sump that has had the oil drain remounted on the side. There is a slight oil weep where it has stood, not sure if it is from the sump or oil filter housing. I have a spec sheet from Andy Bates at AB Performance showing it was stripped and rebuilt ready for the 2006 race season - apparently it has Barnett springs although I have not verified this(more detail available on request).
Shall we say £300?
Next up, a set of 4x Capri Laser (tapered nut seat) Ford 4 spoke alloys:
I was going to put slicks on these but I'm not allowed to in my series (see below!). They've been professionally blasted, I have 8 wheels so you can pick the 4 you like most and I'll keep the others. £60
Slicks as mentioned above! 2x Michelin Pilot 16/53x13" in S210 compound:
Not new but a solid couple of trackdays etc left in them. I'll throw in 3x Avon slicks for free (as Owelly gave me them free), 7.0/20.0x13". Slightly less tread on these but still useable:
£20 the lot.
Lastly, 4x chrome Minilite lookalike alloys with Yokos, as modelled by my car here:
They are a bit bling for me, and I'd rather have cheapo Laser alloys that I can replace easily! I also want to run 13"s.
I haven't measured but I'm convinced they are 14x6". They are fitted with almost brand new 'wet' Yokos. The fronts have 2x Yoko A048 in 185/55R14. The rears are odd: 1x Yoko A048 in 195/60R14, 1x Yoko A021 in 185/60R14 - but I've used them on an axle and it was fine, you couldn't notice!
The Yoko A021 is the standard Yokohama wet, the A048s have all had extra grooves cut into them by George Polley Motorsport to make them good for wet conditions. The wheels could do with an 'Autosol' as I don't do polishing but are in good nick. Comes with wheelnuts that fit a Cortina front/English back end. These will be available at/after the Ne7ers trackday at Teesside on April 20th. £250.
All of these are a bit big to post, so collection from DL6 2SS (near Northallerton and Croft racetrack) or I could possibly deliver locally for some diesel money.
