what is wrong with a standard pinto starter motor? might save yourself a lot of money if you use standard instead of high torque

Y do you need a high torque? Is your car running exceptionally high compression or a tiny flywheel?

Standard ones are muchos cheaper!

I got one for mine from H&H as they worked out a bit cheaper the the likes of Burtons etc....

I reconned I might need it since I'm going to have a higher CR and only a 5.5kg flywheel - but even so I might have got away with a standard one :?

I've got a couple of used standard ones going spare if anyone needs one (not really worth posting them though)

One from an auto will have higher torque than a manual item . Hot rod boys used them .

standard item (new refurb) fine starting from cold, but not happy when warm...
