M18 Tap

Has any1 got the M18 (fine) tap for the top wishbones, close to Stoke-On-Trent i can lend for a couple of days, or is willing to sell to me

It's cheaper to buy the tubes ready made than buy taps. If you just want to clean the threads out because of minor damage you can get a spark plug thread chaser for £6ish.

Agree better to buy the tube threaded --- best way to tap a big thread in a thin tube is to use a lathe chuck -- not to actually turn the thread just to hold it true to the tap.

Most of the better Locost chassis pepole sell the tube and some of the loloquality outfits too.

Darren of GTS sells an adjustable camber widget that goes inside an unthreaded tube, £9 a pair I think (but don't quote me on that)

saw them today, pretty nifty. think we'll have them on our car.
