Wtd: Offcut of 2" Silicon Hose (can be used, tatty, small, etc)

For various reasons including personal interest and booking the car in for a 95 db limit day at anglesea im after about 4inchs of 52mm silicon hose which i intend to push over the exhaust.

I'll buy a short length or 45deg bend off ebay if it comes to it but it seems a waste of £15 to get somthing new and clean for the job in question. Especially if it just burns anyway.

Out of interest, how are you going to use it?

The idea is to push it over the end of the exhaust to see if it takes some top end high frequency noise out of the system.

Mark, anything special about this hose, is it silicon?
