anyone know a good place to buy a small oil filter for the f20c? the standard one is a bit on the large side and fouls steering arm!

what engine is it for?

go to halford and go through the packets of oil filters until you find correct size and thread.

I did this for a Rover V8 and frod crossflow, p retty sure they have same thread.

if yours is crossflow, I can tell you the part number, but not now as I am away frrom the engine.
