Im after some metal box or similar just to weld 4 legs on half an oil drum so that we can make a big bbq (Or 2) for the food at our wedding in 5 weeks time.

Doesnt need to be that big & rusty is fine but preferably cheapish or free as funds are pretty much gone now.
(hence the need to make a bbq rather than hire one)

Im in north Hertfordshire but do travel down to the Enfield area to see my parents quite a bit too.

Anything considered, i have time to clean it up & paint etc.

See if you've got any friends who are scouts / know scout leaders. They usually have very large BBQ's. I've got friends who are scout leaders and we've borrowed them before - approx 1m square & no manufacture.
