Im on the lookout for a classic mini for my next project. The bodywork doesnt have to be amazing, but equaly i dont want a complete rot box. The engine doesnt have to be a runner, as it wont be used anyway. Some history to the vehicle would also be nice. A pre 1990 car would also be nice as it wouldnt need the cat test come mot time

Im looking to spend around £600 max for the right car. Been looking in the usual places, mini forums, ebay, local ads, and auto trader, but was wondering if anyone on here had one they wanted to get rid of

Hi, I have a friend of a friend who is after selling his mini project I'm not really sure what stage or condition it is in as i've not seen it. What i've been told is:

I'm not sure how old it is but its certainly pre 1990 roundnose. Comes with 2 wings front panel inner sill and boot repair pane. Its mid way through being converted to a front flip bonnet.

a 998 engine pretty much complete with gearbox
an MG metro 1275 engine complete but stripped a bit.

has MG metro 4 pot calipers and new vented disc braided front lines but no pads

a set of fiesta winged seats

it probably needs a new rear subframe but the front has been blasted and painted.
