dstt card for old ds lite
RichardK - 25/6/10 at 07:54 PM

Bought a genuine card or what I thought was genuine about 10 months ago, daughter said tonight it doesn't work, check it out and find its a fake and is quite common for these to die.

Company has now disappeard off the net

Anyone got another kicking about that they no longer need, I know a replacement are only about £18 but I just dont have any money spare at the moment.

There maybe a way of recovering the knackered one if I had another one but will have an element of risk involved to the loan card.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Cheers

Rich

it could be the contacts not touching. I have recovered two 'dead' TT cards, just undo the plastic cover, place a small bit of paper inside near the bottom, close it up and try again. probably the easiest thing that you can try.

That sorted it, nice one! Still a fake, so a little pissed still but at least my daughter will be pleased.
