Not sure where this should be posted 'wanted' or 'technical' but I now want to upgrade my pinto to a Duratec so does anyone know of any good Duratec engines or parts for sale?

Also, can anyone give me any information on what to look for when looking for an engine, which is the 'best' duratec, how do identify it etc etc?

PS - I am looking for a 2-litre.

I would reccomend you look for a ST150 Fiesta Duratec engine which are 2.0 ltr.

150 HP in standard format and with thottle bodies you can get 200hp easily.

The ST engine is recognised by the EGR valve being blanked off at the Factory. The Mondeo/Focus engines tend to use the EGR valve.

The ST170 Engine is not a Duratec Engine it sort of sits in between Zetec and Duratec but is basically a Zetec Engine.
