Hi all,

Ive been in touch with my mate that bought the Dutton from me, and he says that the engines knocking noise has got louder. I suspect a big end or mains, so it will be cheaper and easier (he's not mechanically minded to rebuild it) to replace it.

Does anyone have a 1300, 1600, 1700 or 1800 crossflow for sale? He lives in Gloucester, near the University.

but it's from a Cortina 1600e so not one of the desirable later ones.
£30, collection only, sold as seen etc (I have not heard it running but the bloke who sold it to me said it was ok).
I have the gearbox and a few other bits as well if required.
I'm in Evesham, Worcestershire, so not far away.
