16mm Oil Pipe
Bass1st - 23/11/10 at 07:47 PM

Anyone got an offcut of a rubber pipe with a 16mm diameter? I am reworking my oil cooling system and the 10mm diameter pipe I have is too small to go over the connector on my oil cooler. If I have a 3" bit of 16mm pipe I can make a reducer. Don't really want to buy a meter if I can help it!

Cheers.

Are you sure it isn't 13mm??

And 10mm sounds very small for oilways.....

10mm is small for oil cooler pipes and will restrict flow, I am going up from 1/2" (13mm) to 5/8 (16mm)

It's the return from the cooler to the sump. The connector on the sump is definately 10mm. The connector on the cooler measures up at 16mm, but I could probably get a 13mm on. 16mm is the outside diameter of the 10mm pipe I have, allowing me to make a reducer.
