The landlord for our storage facility is selling up and moving, so we're in need of a new place to rent before the end of January.

We're looking for something ideally within 5 miles of Cambridge, with enough space to store and work on a kit car plus enough space around it for a work bench, shelves, tools etc.

We also have a Mazda MX5 and a large car trailer to store, but we have a backup plan for these if we can't find something big enough by January. We'd initially be looking for a 6-month contract with 24hr access.

It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just lights, electrics and running water if poss. Something like a double garage might even be suitable (obviously for the kit car only, not the MX5 or trailer).

If any knows of anyone/anywhere please let me know. I can provide approximate sizes of the space required once I've measured up.

Can't help with a unit but as you no doubt know Cambridge is very expensive to rent ant where. Might be worth having a word with one or two local farmers ? The only car storage site I know of in the area is Autostore but that is not 24hr access and they won't let you work on the car there. Newton Hall Industrial Estate may have a unit to rent, worth a call? Let us know how you get on.
